Mama 💔 How can I possibly put into words what you mean to me? 😔 You were the best mum anyone could ever wish for. When I was sick you rushed to my side and helped me to be strong. When you became sick I knew I had to do the same and I hope me being there was of comfort to you during your darkest hours. Watching you get sicker was the hardest thing, not at all fair, but as you always used to say, who ever said life was fair? You taught me to enjoy the little things in life, like a quiet moment with coffee, a new lipstick, a pile of fresh laundry still warm from the dryer. You taught me to make the best of every situation, you taught me to be kind. Everything good within me is from you. As a grown-up I see now how many sacrifices you made to make my life better, to make a happy life for us even when things were tough and your own life had been turned upside down. I wish we didn’t have to say goodbye but I know it was time for you to have some peace after a long and gruelling battle. I hope to make you proud and know I’ll carry you with me in everything I ever do. Life will never be the same without you.
